Cemetery - An oak is to be planted in the cemetery as part of the nationwide Jubilee Oaks initiative. Minor repairs are to be carried out to a number of old graves.
Budget - The Parish Council have agreed to not increase its precept for 2012/13and therefore the Parish Council portion of council tax rates will remain the same as this year.
National Grid Bamford to Twinstead Project - The Parish Council continues to actively oppose National Grid’s proposals and a councillor attended a consultation meeting this month. The Council is concerned to learn that the size of the proposed sub-station is significantly larger than necessary because of a decision to make all new substations one size to fit all.
