Noticeboards: The noticeboard in St James Street has been completed and work has commenced on renovating the noticeboard in Kirby Hall Road.
Obstructive Parking: Following several complaints details have been passed to the Police of parking violations at various locations throughout the village.
Church Tower and Clock: Remedial works in the tower continue but it is now possible to re-instate operation of the village clock on the tower. However repairs to the clock are required and the Parish will be asked for funding.
Weight Restrictions: Discussions are to be held with Essex County Council Highways and neighbouring parishes about changing weight restrictions for HGVs driving through the village.
Benches: Where necessary benches in the village are to be cleaned and treated with wood stain/preservative/paint. The bench at Forge Green is in poor condition and may be beyond economic repair; consideration is to be given to replacing it.
