Traffic Issues: The speed gun has been deployed and will be in use February/March. A speed indicator sign on the B1058 at the bottom of Sudbury Hill is now operational.
Churchyard Footpath: A faculty approving the works is awaiting signing by the Bishop; contractors will then be engaged.
War Memorial: Quotes have now been received. The parish council is to look an example of work by one contractor before proceeding further.
Highways: Parking restrictions are to be introduced in Kirby Hall Road. The parish council is exploring options with Essex CC Highways to improve compliance with the 7.5mt lorry weight restriction.
Graveyard: One quote for repairs to two tombs has been obtained. Further quotes are to be sought.
Police: The mobile police station will be visiting St James Street by the Bell PH on March 11, April 6, May 3, June 3, July 1, July 29, Aug 23, Sept 23, Oct 21, Nov 18, and Dec 16.
