Noticeboards: The noticeboard in Kirby Hall Road has now been renovated.
Church Tower and Clock: The Parish Council is to contribute £1,000 towards the cost of repairing the village clock on the church tower.
Weight Restrictions: Discussions have been held with Essex County Council Highways and neighbouring parishes about changing weight restrictions for HGVs driving through the village on the A1058. Re-siting of and additional signage have been agreed and the necessary consultation and legal process will now commence.
Benches: The Parish Council has agreed to clean and stain benches in the village. These works will not include the bench at Forge Green which has been badly damaged by vandals; consideration is to be given to replacing this bench to commerate the Queen’s Jubilee.
